New bingo app is the company’s first product to be released since Mirrorball Slots and features Deal or No Deal branded content 

Social casino start-up Plumbee has launched its first non-slots product with the release of a new bingo app under the Mirrorball brand.

Mirrorball Bingo was released on Facebook today and is the London-based company’s first app since the launch of its debut product Mirrorball Slots on the same platform in March 2012.

The new app currently has three bingo rooms including a Deal or No Deal-branded game which Raf Keustermans, Plumbee CEO and co-founder, told SCi is the only free-to-play bingo version of the TV show on the market.

The Deal or No Deal brand is owned by Endemol which led a $14m Series B funding round in Plumbee in December and the social casino operator said it will look to tap into its other TV show licenses in the future.

“We have very ambitious plans for Plumbee this year and this is our first step in proving that we are a multi-product, multi-platform company,” Keustermans said.

Its flagship Mirrorball Slots app has an estimated 1.5m monthly active users on Facebook and Plumbee is hoping to replicate its success with Bingo.

“We worked really hard to launch a product with very high production value and fun and engaging features,” Roy Avinash, Mirrorball Bingo product manager, said.

“And this is just the beginning,” he added. “We have lots of new rooms and features ready to launch in the next few weeks and months.”
